    • Quant climbed past 50%, and HBAR jumped over 30% while Bitcoin and the wider cryptocurrency market experienced declines.
    • SEI, PUMP, and XDC additionally recorded significant gains, driven by developments surrounding ETFs, token buybacks, and enterprise blockchain initiatives.

Bitcoin is trading lower today, alongside a broader market pullback that has left major assets like Ethereum and XRP in negative territory. Bitcoin hovered near $83,200, registering a 24-hour drop of approximately 1.5%, while the overall crypto market capitalization decreased roughly 1.5% to $2.86 trillion. Despite this general weakness, several altcoins surged significantly, spearheaded by Quant (QNT), alongside gains for Pump.fun (PUMP), Sei (SEI), XDC Network (XDC), and Hedera (HBAR).

    1. Quant (QNT)

Quant stands out as the primary gainer, securing the top position by a substantial margin. At the time of publication, QNT changed hands around $260—marking a 24-hour surge of more than 50%—with an intraday peak reaching $357. The altcoin’s market capitalization surpassed $3 billion, accompanied by a trading volume spike of about $1.5 billion, highlighting the intense capital influx during this latest price movement.

The primary catalyst for QNT is its recent selection by The Clearing House to participate in the On-Chain Money Initiative. Quant will supply the transaction-management, orchestration, and interoperability layers for a new network intended to let financial institutions settle and clear tokenized deposit transactions.

Participating institutions are anticipated to gain access to the network during the first half of 2027. According to The Clearing House, its current payment systems handle more than $2 trillion daily.

Additionally, Quant is drawing strength from a recent UK tokenized-deposit milestone, during which seven banks successfully finished live customer transactions on a GBTD platform built by Quant.

    2. Hedera (HBAR)

Hedera claimed the second position, with HBAR trading above $0.1245 after rising more than 30% over a 24-hour period. HBAR has not reached this valuation since July 2026, and its trading volume expanded dramatically by over 800%. The token demonstrated notable resilience despite the downward pressure on Bitcoin.

The upward movement in HBAR’s price stems largely from continued market reactions to the partnership between IBM and The Hashgraph Group, which listed the Hedera-based IDTrust identity platform on the IBM Cloud Catalog. IDTrust specializes in verifiable identity solutions for AI agents.

The inclusion of IDTrust within the IBM Cloud Catalog strengthened confidence in enterprise adoption and reassessed Hedera’s utility regarding digital identity and AI governance. Furthermore, HBAR capitalized on a wider market rotation toward enterprise-focused blockchain initiatives.

    4. Pump.fun (PUMP)

Ranking third, PUMP traded close to $0.0051—an increase of roughly 17% over 24 hours—accompanied by a daily trading volume nearing $377 million and a market cap of approximately $2.4 billion. The token continues to trade below its all-time high of $0.008819.

The primary driver remains Pump.fun’s ongoing buyback-and-burn strategy. On September 26, the protocol burned 320.4 million PUMP tokens utilizing 11,900 SOL, valued at approximately $1.46 million. This token burn accounted for 52.04% of the protocol’s revenue for that day. Pump.fun also reported 869,500 daily active wallets on the Solana network as of September 26.

    4. Sei (SEI)

SEI captured the fourth spot, trading near $0.083 following a sharp 18% increase over the past 24 hours. Historical data from Binance indicates that SEI grew by 10.11% on September 27, following a 19.72% rise on September 25. Current trading volume jumped by over 122%, hitting roughly $274.7 million.

This rally follows heightened attention surrounding Canary Capital’s proposed Staked SEI ETF. An amended filing submitted to the SEC outlines plans to stake 90% of the fund’s SEI holdings, with BitGo acting as the custodian. If cleared, this arrangement would significantly reduce the circulating supply of SEI available on the open market while reinvesting yields back into the fund.

Interest in Sei’s performance enhancements is also fueled by the upcoming Giga upgrade. Recent testing reportedly achieved 63,000 requests per second, generating additional enthusiasm.

    5. XDC Network (XDC)

The fifth position goes to the XDC Network. XDC exchanged hands near $0.034, gaining nearly 13% across 24 hours, while daily trading volume surged 250% to approximately $35 million alongside a market capitalization approaching $732 million.

XDC’s price action aligns with sustained focus on its role in real-world asset infrastructure and trade finance. Built specifically for international trade and enterprise use cases, the network supports platforms like Singapore’s TradeTrust, which utilizes the XDC Network for document authentication governed by the Model Law on Electronic Transferable Records framework.
